Job Summary

This role will work closely and partner with individuals across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into effective data models and visualizations. An Analytics Engineer should be proficient in SQL, data warehouse technologies, and popular BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI. Skills should include optimizing query performance and creating user-friendly dashboards that distill complex data into easily digestible formats. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.

Your Key Job Functions
• Creating interactive dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics
• Collaborating with business units, business analysts, and data architects to identify and implement BI solutions
• Providing training and support to end-users on BI tools and dashboards
• Staying current with emerging BI technologies and best practices
• Analysis of complex systems and documenting data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies
• Analyze and interpret complex data into clear actionable insights by providing effective visualizations and narratives
• Lead multiple projects with various deadlines, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables
• Consult with data warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard issues and data discrepancies quickly and accurately

What You Bring to the Team
• Required bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud, with previous experience in Restaurant Operations being a plus
• Proven expertise using software including, but not limited to, Advanced SQL, Excel, API's, cloud databases (AWS, Azure), scripting languages (Python, R, JavaScript), and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Qlik)
• Certification as a Tableau Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional
• Proven expertise in both visualizing data and storytelling with data to create actionable reports and presentations through both quantitative analytics and business acumen skills
• Experience with customer experience, sentiment analysis, supply chain and inventory analysis, informing business strategy, data science, and statistics
• A "self-starter" attitude that thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication style, both verbal and written, with experience presenting complex ideas to varying levels of familiarity, adjusting style to their experience and needs
• High organization, attention to detail, and project management skills
• Proven ability to influence and build productive and cooperative relationships with team members, stakeholders, senior leadership, and other key partners
