Enterprise Engagement Manager (Professional Services)- Hybrid, Remote

 

About the job

 

The Global Consulting Business Development Organization is looking for an Enterprise Engagement Manager to lead complex early-stage consulting pursuits, partner with Sales Leaders and Customers, and shape strategic opportunities. 

 

Complexity, Problem Solving & Judgment

  • Handles high‑complexity opportunities with multiple variables.
  • Evaluates ambiguous customer situations and provides strategic recommendations.
  • Leads qualification and shaping of strategic consulting pursuits.

Supervision & Autonomy

  • Operates independently with broad latitude.
  • Advises leadership on Consulting Business Development strategy and pipeline priorities.
  • Possesses good track record working with sales managers and account executives. 
  • Able to act fast, coordinate with other functions internally, and track opportunities end to end.

Impact & Contributions

  • Drives regional attachment of consulting services to software opportunities.  
  • Influences consulting strategy, forecasting discipline, and business development effectiveness.
  • Enhances business development processes and cross‑team collaboration.

 

As an Enterprise Engagement Manager, you will:

 

Selling

  • Lead advanced discovery with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic early‑stage opportunity approach.
  • Identify cross‑territory consulting opportunities.
  • Build strong customer and partner relationships.

Process / Administration

  • Lead executive deal desk preparation for complex deals.
  • Provide advanced context to business development practice and business development operations.
  • Provide an accurate and up to date representation of the consulting pipeline forecast for your assigned territory

Additional Responsibilities

  • Standardize business development workflows across teams.
  • Craft and review approval submissions to SAS executives for complex opportunities.

Required qualifications
