Job Title: Business Development Manager, Industrial Systems Solutions

The Impact You'll Make

Join Danfoss Climate Solutions and help accelerate the transition to more energy-efficient, low-carbon industrial systems across North America. In this role, you will identify, develop, and advance integrated heating, cooling, and energy recovery solutions that help customers reduce energy consumption, lower emissions, and improve operational performance.

As a trusted advisor to industrial and healthcare customers, you will bring together technical expertise, commercial insight, and industry partnerships to turn complex energy challenges into practical, high-impact solutions. Your work will directly support customers' sustainability goals while expanding the reach of Danfoss' innovative technologies.

Reporting to the Director, Global Industrial Systems Solutions, you will collaborate with customers, OEMs, consultants, contractors, and Danfoss experts to shape projects from opportunity identification through implementation.

At Danfoss, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most meaningful energy transition projects in the market today. You will help customers reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and create more sustainable operations across critical industries.

You will join a collaborative global team that values innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. This role offers broad exposure to customers, technologies, and growth opportunities across the Danfoss Climate Solutions portfolio.

This position is based within the North America region, with preference for candidates located near a Danfoss office and willingness to travel as needed to support customer and project activities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop relationships with industrial and healthcare customers, industry organizations, and strategic partners to create new energy efficiency and decarbonization opportunities.
  • Lead customer discovery discussions and energy assessments to identify opportunities for integrated heating, cooling, and energy recovery solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to develop solution concepts, business cases, and value propositions that support customer investment decisions.
  • Work closely with OEMs, consultants, contractors, and Danfoss sales teams to advance projects from design through implementation and long-term success.
  • Promote awareness of Danfoss Industrial Systems Solutions by sharing market insights, supporting thought leadership activities, and helping expand customer engagement across North America.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of Experience developing or implementing industrial HVAC, thermal, energy management, or facility infrastructure solutions.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and thermal systems, including the ability to evaluate and discuss complex system designs with customers and partners.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, uncover customer needs, and drive solution-based business opportunities.
  • Experience collaborating across technical, commercial, and external stakeholder groups to deliver successful projects.


Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. The range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000.
