Your work will directly influence product reliability, production cycle time, and throughput—key factors driving the performance of our global organization.

This position provides exposure to a wide range of engineering disciplines, including electronics, mechanical design, automation, instrumentation, data analysis, and troubleshooting of complex test systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Own test systems from concept through production use, including development, deployment, and sustaining support in a manufacturing environment
  • Design and validate electrical and mechanical manufacturing test solutions, including automated test equipment, custom fixtures, and tooling
  • Execute fabrication and implementation of custom test hardware, utilizing additive and subtractive manufacturing methods, custom PCBs, NI DAQ systems, and off-the-shelf components
  • Perform hands-on debugging of equipment and systems, including test equipment, data acquisition devices, test software, sensors, intersystem communication, PCBAs, motion controllers, and robotics
  • Analyze test data to identify failure modes, root causes, process variations, and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Quality, and Process Engineering—to define test requirements and ensure alignment with product needs
  • Create, update, and maintain detailed test documentation, procedures, calibration instructions, and engineering reports
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing test strategies and equipment for emerging technologies
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase test throughput, enhance repeatability, reduce downtime, and improve equipment reliability
