Analyst, Energy Transition & Strategy Advisory

What we're looking for
  • Support clients across the maritime value chain in addressing complex strategic, commercial and energy transition challenges
  • Contribute to advisory projects covering management consulting solutions, energy transition strategies, market assessments and business case development
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary technical, regulatory, and commercial experts to deliver diverse advisory projects
  • Assist in developing high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations and strategic recommendations
  • Be part of a team combining deep domain expertise with a practical understanding of industry transformation
  • Help enable safe, commercially viable, and sustainable solutions for the maritime sector


The role
  • Conduct market, policy, commercial, and industry research and data analysis to support strategic advisory projects across the maritime and energy sectors.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to develop evidence-based insights and recommendations for clients
  • Collaborate with internal experts and external stakeholders to solve research and analysis challenges
  • Identify alternative approaches and solutions where appropriate
  • Deliver required analytical inputs within agreed timelines, scope, and contractual parameters
  • Prepare outputs in defined formats suitable for consulting deliverables
  • Document research methodologies, data sources, assumptions, and findings
  • Conduct structured analysis that is transparent, verifiable, and defensible
  • Work closely with technical, regulatory, and commercial experts to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Contribute ideas to the continuous improvement of analytical methods, tools, and advisory services

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) from a recognised university in:
    • Maritime business
    • Economics / finance
    • Engineering
    • Or an equivalent discipline
  • Excellent proficiency in English with strong writing skills
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft products including excel, word and power point.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and structured thinking
  • Flexible, adaptable, and open to new challenges
  • Willingness to work from other LR or client office locations when required
  • Highly self-motivated with enthusiasm for delivering sustainable outcomes
