Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage active bids and offer curves for grid scale operating storage facilities.
  • Coordinate energy storage bids with operations, scheduling entities and other stakeholders to ensure proper utilization of available resource capacity
  • Develop and manage bidding strategies using internal and 3rd-party tools across multiple Independent System Operators
  • Provide recommendations and technical specifications to improve predictive models, bidding strategies and real-time market operations
  • Interface with regulatory and policy teams to monitor and influence evolving issues impacting deployment and value of energy storage
  • Assess dispatch strategies at operational energy storage assets including budget reconciliations
  • Support commissioning, ancillary services qualification testing and integration of energy management systems across Geronimo Power operating regions
  • Act as the ERCOT authorized representative for Geronimo Power Energy Marketing + Services for the purpose of maintaining compliance as a Market Participant
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required


What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of experience in market analysis, storage operations, or related function in renewable energy and/or energy storage
  • Strong knowledge of energy markets and regulation
  • Enthusiasm for novel multi-disciplinary problems
  • Knowledge of MS applications required, experience with Python or similar modeling language preferred
  • Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, math, finance, or related fields


Pay Range for the posted level: Minimum of $100,000-142,000.00
