Full Job Description
Role: Lead Successful execution of Energy Solutions projects by interacting with cross-functional teams, coordinating client communications, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Act as a point of contact between subcontractors and clients, providing exceptional client service and driving high-quality outcomes for RENU and our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee project execution to ensure designs, budgets, and timelines are met while managing subcontractors and RENU labor.
  • Conduct project walk-throughs, prepare scopes-of-work (SOW), and obtain subcontractor quotes to support accurate project planning.
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to RENU management and clients, while assisting with RFP responses and documentation.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with subcontractors, consultants, utilities, and related firms to expand capabilities cost-effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams to align project goals and deliverables.
  • Stay current on national and local incentives, including utility rebate programs and federal tax credits, relevant to EPC projects.
  • Assist in RFP responses.
  • Create internal Estimates for Energy projects to be reviewed and approved by the VP of Energy Solutions, the VP of Operations and the COO.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree Preferred.

Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years in the energy services industry managing projects more than $2,000,000.
  • Strong understanding of performance contracting, public bidding regulations, utility rebate programs, and federal tax incentives.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, renewable energy systems, and building envelope components, with experience in project operations and subcontractor negotiation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Project, Miro, and capable of analyzing complex energy savings spreadsheets.
  • Understand project economics and manage to maintain or exceed gross margin goals.
  • Knowledge of NY State Education Department (SED) requirements and processes.

Physical Demands & Setting:
  • Combination of office-based work with frequent field locations.
  • Extended period of sitting for office work.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and climbing during site visits, inspections and walk-throughs, often uneven terrain.
