Full Job Description
The Energy Program Manager leads mission-assurance energy initiatives that ensure uninterrupted power for critical space operations. The role develops resilient microgrids and advanced energy solutions, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) and alternative systems, while conducting feasibility studies and navigation DOE/NRC pathways. The Manager assesses infrastructure vulnerabilities, supports classified resiliency planning, and aligns enterprise energy strategies with operational risk and installation readiness. This role requires extensive experience in utility-scale energy projects, microgrid design, and DoD energy resilience.

Requirements
  • Fully adjudicated Top Secret Clearance to start
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Utility-scale Energy Expertise: 10-12+ years in large-scale energy projects, including microgrids or advanced nuclear
  • DoD Energy Resilience Knowledge: Understanding of DoD policies, federal procurement, and mission-critical power systems
  • Regulatory & Compliance Navigation: Experience working with DOE, NRC, and federal siting/safety requirements
  • Technical Risk & Vulnerability Assessment: Ability to evaluate mission dependencies and infrastructure vulnerabilities
  • Classified Mission Integration: Capable of supporting TS-level resiliency programs and sensitive operational timelines
Desired Skills
  • HQ experience with staffing approval packages for facility requirements
  • Civil Engineer experience in the US Air Force or US Space Force highly desired
