Job Description

The Mayo Clinic Division of Endocrinology is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physician consultant in adult endocrinology, whose clinical practice will include both general endocrinology and expertise in obesity medicine, for an expanding academic practice at our Arizona campus.

Experience in the evaluation and longitudinal management of obesity-related metabolic disease is highly desirable, including familiarity with anti-obesity pharmacotherapy, multidisciplinary care models, and metabolic risk reduction. Dual training or certification in Obesity Medicine is welcomed but not required.

In addition, the Division of Endocrinology has a broad clinical focus that includes bone and parathyroid disorders, pituitary, gonadal and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone disease, transgender and intersex care, diabetes technology, and inpatient diabetes management.

Ranked #10 in the United States in 2025 by U.S. News & World Report, the division currently consists of eight physicians and eight advanced practitioners engaged in a busy clinical practice, research, and education. The division is home to a ACGME accredited 2-years Endocrinology Fellowship. Faculty are actively involved in the education of endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students and are expected to be academically and clinically productive.
