Full Job Description
Sony Electronics Inc. Professional Display Solutions division has an excellent opportunity for a Senior End User Account Manager. This is an outside sales position responsible for driving demand, developing opportunities, and increasing market share within targeted Fortune 500 end user accounts across Corporate, Healthcare, Retail, Transportation and Large/Public Venue verticals. The Senior End User Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, engaging and developing relationships with key decision makers, influencers and stakeholders with the objective of becoming a trusted advisor and valued technology partner.

Responsibilities

This role requires a highly motivated sales professional with a hunter mentality who is passionate about creating new opportunities and driving growth. The Senior End User Account Manager will proactively develop account penetration strategies, uncover new projects, influence specifications, and work closely with reseller, integrator and distribution partners to position Sony solutions. A strong understanding of Sony Professional Display Solutions including BRAVIA Professional Displays, Crystal LED, Business Projectors and PTZ Cameras, along with the ability to effectively differentiate Sony from competitive offerings, is expected.

Additional critical responsibilities include pipeline development and management, accurate forecasting, customer and market analysis, conducting executive-level presentations, coordinating product demonstrations, supporting trade shows and industry events, and collaborating with internal marketing, engineering, customer service and sales teams. The Senior End User Account Manager will be accountable for achieving assigned sales quotas while driving long-term strategic account growth and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent.
  • Must have 5 years of successful end user sales experience.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with a proven ability to develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
  • Highly motivated to succeed with a consistent track record of achieving or exceeding assigned sales objectives.
  • Experience creating and executing strategic account penetration plans within targeted end users and vertical markets.
  • Outstanding persuasion, negotiation, written communication and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to make professional and compelling presentations and communicate effectively with executive-level decision makers.
  • Strong organization, business planning, forecasting and time management skills.
  • Experience and competency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling professional AV, display, collaboration or digital signage solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Established relationships within key Fortune 500 Enterprise, corporate, healthcare, QSR or stadiums/large venues.
  • Experience with global multi-national accounts
  • Consistent track record for exceeding company expectations and sales targets.


The anticipated base pay range for this position is $84,420 to $112,560. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for a sales incentive plan. The specifics of the plan vary by role and can include elements related to both individual and company performance. In addition, this position is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
