Full Job Description
We're seeking a high-energy, hunter-focused Emerging Enterprise Account Executive to identify and secure new enterprise logos while strategically expanding our footprint within a select group of high-potential existing accounts. In this role, you will sharpen your sales expertise and make a meaningful impact by fostering long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional value.

This role is based in either our San Francisco, New York, or Chicago office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve
  • Become a primary driver of Asana's new business motion by converting competitive accounts for initial purchases.
  • Manage the full cycle of complex deals with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
  • Drive revenue by leveraging your industry thought leadership, data-driven insights, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Lead collaborative strategies with cross-functional partners in Solutions Engineering, Sales Development, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Executive Sponsors.
  • Establish trust with C-level executives, IT and InfoSec leaders, and key stakeholders by aligning our solutions with their strategic business goals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer goals to uncover new use cases and drive expansion during the term and at renewal.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and ensure successful onboarding and adoption.
About you
  • Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.
  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B closing sales role, with at least 3 years specifically in Enterprise sales (previous SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Proven track record of high and consistent quota attainment.
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with a disciplined approach to prospecting, multi-threading, and closing high-value net-new deals.
  • A self-starter who thrives on continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Ability to learn, synthesize, and consult on new products, fields, and industry trends.
  • Skilled at building trust with stakeholders across all levels of an organization, including C-suite executives.

To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the On-Target Earnings (OTE) range is $247,000 - $281,000. The total OTE includes a base salary range of $123,500 - $140,500 and performance-based sales incentive pay (based on the terms of the Sales Incentive Plan). These ranges are a guideline; actual base salary and OTE may vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process, and the ranges for this role may be modified.
