Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Services, you will help individuals and families receive holistic, effective, and appropriate care in a safe and confidential environment so they can achieve optimal health outcomes from admission to discharge.
Every day you will assess patients, plan, implement, and evaluate their care, utilizing your clinical skills and technology. You will be expected to document thoroughly, accept leadership direction, mentor new staff, engage in continuous self-development, and maintain a safe patient environment while adhering to policies and procedures.

- Collects patient data based on diagnosis, age and/or developmental age. Analyzes data collected.
- Plans and prioritizes individualized care based on the assessment, utilizing nursing diagnosis, including teaching and discharge needs of the patient and family, and sets outcome goals in coordination with other disciplines.
- Ensures that the patient/family participates in the plan of care as able, and that plan of care addresses age-specific and cultural needs.
- Implements appropriate standards based on assessment.
- Prioritizes and organizes care within the allotted time frames.
- Coordinates discharge steps or ensures appropriate referral to address timely, appropriate discharge needs.
Job Requirements
Required
- 1 year RN Emergency Department or Critical Care experience.
- Active Registered Nurse License in the state of California
- Basic Life Support - CPR from the American Heart Association
- ACLS from the American Heart Association
- PALS from the American Heart Association
Preferred
- Bachelors Of Science (BSN)
