JOB SUMMARYThe Director is responsible for directing, managing, and delegating individualized patient care for those seeking urgent, emergent, or traumatic care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. The Director reports to the Chief Nursing Officer.
Minimum Qualifications: - Current registered nurse license in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years as Director or other management/supervisory experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- CEN certification required.
Certifications and Competencies: - Required Certifications upon hire: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC
- Required Competencies acquired at hire: Stat Strip, Basic EKG, Hospital Mandatory Education
- Acquires the following certifications within 1 year of hire: TNCC
