Position Overview:
  • Provide individualized instruction and behavioral support to elementary students with autism spectrum disorders in a structured, inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), using data-driven practices to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction.
  • Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies, including structured teaching, positive behavior supports, and visual supports, to promote academic, social, and functional growth.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff to foster student success and create an engaging, supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
  • Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs, conducting student assessments, and applying evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to support students with autism spectrum disorders
