MUSIC TEACHER

Sato Elementary is seeking a positive, collaborative, and student-centered Music Teacher to join our specialist team. As a large elementary school serving students in grades K-5, we are looking for an educator with strong classroom management skills, high energy, and the flexibility needed to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with our other music teacher to co-plan, design, and deliver an engaging, inclusive, and high-quality music program. You will foster a welcoming classroom community where all students can explore their creativity, build musical skills, and develop a lifelong love for music.

Purpose
The Music Teacher instructs and encourages all students to develop lifelong habits of musical literacy including singing, performing, playing, and appreciating. The Music Teacher plans and implements an instructional program that fosters learning and growth, creates a supportive learning environment that enables acquisition of skills and knowledge, and guides students toward reaching their academic, social, intellectual and physical potential.

Salary

$60,793 - $121,804 annually based on 194 day contract (2026-27 salary schedule, not including intern rate)
