The Site Manager will manage and direct the day-to-day performance of the material handling equipment supported by their specific team. This person's decisions can have a moderate to high-level impact on business operations. This site location is in Hickory, NC.
The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $94,125 to $138,000 salary at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills
Tasks and Qualifications:
What you will do in this Role:
- Lead, coordinate, and direct all functions of their report staff.
- Perform at professional level to interpret/process more complex, less-clearly defined issues.
- Identify and resolve sophisticated problems.
- Define workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to gain optimum efficiency.
- Participate in development of department budgets and business plans for functional area.
- Evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures within own area of responsibility and communicate to the customer.
- Identify resource needs and develop justification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
What we are looking for:
- Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate and apply broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s).
- Demonstrate understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action.
- Possess 5 years of successful experience in a related field and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.
- Able to gauge, identify, and implement training based on skill assessment results.
- Able to manage critical metrics and fault data using these methods: Track and measure, evaluate and analyze the data, and implement and direct improvement.
- Able to create reports and communication materials to track and report performance issues.
Demonstrate continuous improvement of maintenance and operations of Material Handling Equipment (MHE or equivalent experience) to the customer.
