Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience as an Electrician, ideally in food production
  • Licensed Industrial Electrician; dual tickets preferred
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Experience in troubleshooting machine controls, including VFDs
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting
  • Mechanical skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Check, repair, and maintain production machines and electrical equipment
  • Ensure compliance of electrical work within the plant
  • Perform general maintenance tasks
  • Provide technical support to production and other departments
  • Diagnose and correct faults
  • Conduct preventive maintenance
  • Complete additional related tasks as needed.

  • Checks, repairs and maintains all production machines and electrical equipment;
  • Ensure that the electrical work in the plant is in compliance;
  • Perform general maintenance work;
  • Technical support to production and other departments;
  • Diagnose and correct faults;
  • Perform preventive maintenance;
  • All other related tasks can be added to this brief description.


'What we are looking for to deliver these results:'
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Electrician, preferably in the food sector;
  • Licensed Industrial Electrician; preference will be given to dual ticketed applicants;
  • Able to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot machine controls including VFD's;
  • PLC troubleshooting knowledge;
  • Mechanical competencies;
