Electrical Team Lead - Lévis or Laval
Do you want to play a central role in the development and performance of a key department while guiding a team of experts toward excellence? As an Electrical Team Lead at Creaform Engineering, a division of FARO Creaform, you will be at the heart of the design, supervision, and quality of electrical projects across diverse environments.

In this key role, you will act as both a technical leader and a team manager. You will support your team on a daily basis, ensure the technical consistency of deliverables, optimize processes, and actively participate in project organization. Your leadership will have a direct impact on client satisfaction, talent development, and operational performance. Our Creaform Engineering department is known for its autonomy, expertise, and strong human values.

Nicolas, your future manager, is recognized for his teamwork mindset and ability to bring people together. He has been with FARO Creaform for eight years. He started as a Team Lead and is now Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coach the electrical team while supporting their development, performance, and engagement
  • Plan resources, distribute workloads, and optimize design methods
  • Supervise electrical design projects from needs analysis to commissioning, ensuring quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure adherence to relevant electrical standards within the manufacturing environment
  • Participate in cost estimation, preparation of technical proposals, and support for the sales teams
  • Continuously improve department tools, processes, and operational practices
  • Serve as a technical reference for both internal and client projects

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Approximately 7 years of experience in electrical engineering
  • Experience in team management or a team lead role
  • Experience in custom project estimation
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering and safety standards, including ISO 12100, CSA Z432, ISO 13849
  • Proficiency in one or more electrical design software tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent)
  • Comfort with occasional travel to client sites


Compensation

Currency: CAD

Salary Minimum: 90,000

Salary Maximum: 115,000
