Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to manage electrical design in Orion Test Laboratories (OTL)!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop detailed electrical wiring schematics for data and power distribution layouts for Orion software/Hardware Test laboratories (ITL, VTB1/HOTH, VTB2/SSDL, CADE)
• Collaborate with subsystem engineers to define data, electrical loads, routing, and interface requirements.
• Management of lab test products drawings, procurements, procedures and certifications
• Artemis III and future mission support of ITL requirements, design, and certifications
Basic Qualifications
• Electrical design work experience (harnesses, cables, electronic boxes, electrical systems)
• Fluency in ECAD applications and modeling (ZukenE3, etc.) tools
• Experience in anomaly troubleshooting and problem resolution
• US citizenship is required for this role
Desired skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent engineering work experience
• Familiarity with Orion spacecraft architecture, subsystems and Orion Flight Hardware architecture
• Familiarity with Space programs, flight specifications, and/or COTS electronic equipment
• Harness Electrical design experience
• Experience in integrated avionics and software test environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Mechanical interconnect experience
• Voltage Drop Analysis experience
• Product Lifecycle ownership/management
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
