About The Role:

We are seeking a Data Center Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution across high-profile projects throughout Texas.

In this role, you will serve as the senior field leader responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation of critical electrical infrastructure. You will oversee field operations from planning and installation through testing, commissioning, and turnover while leading large teams and coordinating with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

What You'll Do
Field Leadership & Project Execution
  • Provide overall field leadership for all electrical construction activities, including safety, quality, productivity, manpower planning, logistics, and schedule execution.
  • Lead and mentor foremen, general foremen, craft professionals, subcontractors, and support personnel.
  • Develop manpower forecasts, crew-loading plans, work-area assignments, shift schedules, and resource plans.
  • Manage daily work plans, three-week look-ahead schedules, installation sequencing, and recovery plans.
Technical Coordination
  • Review drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, BIM layouts, submittals, and equipment documentation before release to field teams.
  • Coordinate activities with owners, general contractors, engineers, equipment vendors, inspectors, commissioning teams, and trade partners.
  • Oversee installation of: Medium-voltage distribution systems Switchgear and transformers UPS and battery systems Generators Busway systems Cable tray and feeder systems Grounding systems Controls and monitoring systems
Safety & Quality
  • Enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO, company, and customer safety requirements.
  • Lead pre-task planning meetings, toolbox talks, production meetings, and daily field coordination activities.
  • Implement QA/QC programs, inspections, test documentation, deficiency tracking, redline management, and turnover procedures.
  • Ensure protection of installed equipment, housekeeping standards, material management, and access control requirements.
Commissioning & Turnover
  • Coordinate inspections, startup activities, testing, energization, commissioning support, and customer acceptance processes.
  • Manage punch-list completion and turnover documentation.
  • Support project closeout activities and workforce transitions between projects.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
  • 5+ years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or comparable leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of: National Electrical Code (NEC) OSHA regulations NFPA 70E Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Electrical commissioning practices
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, BIM models, and one-line diagrams.
  • Proven success leading multiple crews, managing production goals, resolving field conflicts, and driving schedule performance.
  • Strong communication, leadership, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
  • Experience delivering electrical scopes on: Hyperscale data centers Colocation facilities AI and HPC infrastructure GPU-focused facilities Enterprise or mission-critical projects
  • Experience leading large crews across multiple shifts and phased turnover schedules.
  • Knowledge of redundant power architectures, critical environments, and uptime requirements.
  • Experience with commissioning, startup, integrated systems testing, and customer turnover.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, digital plan platforms, and electronic inspection tools.
  • Experience with prefabricated electrical assemblies, modular construction, or offsite fabrication programs.

Work Environment

This position is primarily field-based and requires regular onsite attendance at active construction projects throughout Texas. Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments and may involve exposure to weather conditions, construction site noise, and active electrical infrastructure.

Candidates must be willing to travel, work extended hours when required, and support critical project milestones including nights, weekends, and shift coverage.
