Electrical Preconstruction Manager
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX | On-Site | $100,000-$200,000+
A well-established and rapidly growing electrical contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Preconstruction Manager to join its leadership team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
This is a high-impact role where you'll lead the entire preconstruction process on some of the region's most complex commercial and industrial projects. You'll work closely with owners, architects, engineers and operations teams to develop winning estimates and help shape projects from concept through handoff.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the preconstruction process from conceptual budgeting through final estimate
  • Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development and construction document estimates
  • Develop accurate budgets and cost analyses
  • Perform value engineering and constructability reviews
  • Analyze drawings, specifications and project requirements
  • Review and level subcontractor/vendor proposals
  • Build relationships with owners, architects, engineers and general contractors
  • Support proposal presentations and client interviews
  • Partner with operations to ensure a seamless transition from preconstruction to project execution
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of electrical estimating or preconstruction experience
  • Experience with a specialty electrical contractor (preferred over general contracting)
  • Background estimating large commercial and industrial electrical projects
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and MEP coordination
