IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager - Data Center for work in Cedar Rapids, IA.
Job Summary
- Provides overall management in all phases of construction for Data Center electrical projects.
- Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.
- Represents company in project meetings and strategy meetings.
- Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company's interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.
- Manages the project team to ensure that project delivery meets the expectations of the client as well as IES.
- Performs takeoffs and price change orders and project related quotes.
- Works closely with the management to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
- Work required to be performed at the project site.
- Travel is required.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years' electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $20-$100M
- Data Center experience is required.
- Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
- Detailed understanding of electrical estimating, budgeting, scheduling and project tracking.
- Detailed understanding of billing and financial reporting.
- Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test and MVR check.
