The Service Project Manager is responsible to oversee all aspects of assigned service projects from commencement to completion. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or is necessary.
Duties include:- Manage submittals, budgets, change orders, RFI's, schedules, and other aspects required to maintain profitable and successful projects.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all assigned projects.
- Execute organization's programs, policies, standards, and procedures consistently.
- Manage all financial aspects of projects and work orders.
- Set clear goals and expectations to service techs.
- Coordinates scheduling of service techs and communicates work locations and job expectations to techs daily.
- Orders materials and supplies as needed.
- Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns.
- When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects.
- Manage all job closeout procedures.
- Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
- Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within the industry.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Position Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of experience managing electrical projects
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Current Journeyman or Master TDLR License
- Technical proficiency in MS Office and Accubid, or similar estimating software
- Texas Drivers License
