Your Impact
  • Support the design and analysis of electrical systems for institutional, commercial, and mixed-use building projects.
  • Assist with preparation of drawings, calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and integrated building designs.
  • Participate in site visits, field reviews, and construction support activities.
  • Apply applicable codes, standards, and client requirements to engineering deliverables.
  • Contribute to sustainable and resilient design solutions that positively impact communities.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC.
  • Foundational knowledge of building electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and life safety).
  • Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Code and relevant standards.
  • Experience with engineering design tools such as AutoCAD and/or Revit is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $73,400 - $97,200
MB & ON: $67,000 - $92,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $66,300 - $88,000
