Job Description
The Work
Generate and maintain Combat System Cable Block Diagrams (CBD) and Cable Installation / Interconnection Drawings (CIID), including:
Cable Running Sheets (CRS), Minimum Data Sets (MDS), Cable Impact Statements (CIS), Network Maintenance Diagrams (NMD), and Electrical Interface Control Drawings (EICD).
Serve as the responsible engineer for the development of cable products and associated deliverables within the SEMS Ship Integration Engineering team.
Review PARM, OEM, and vendor Installation Control Drawings and Technical Data Package (TDP) products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements.
Provide engineering support across multiple ship classes and land-based test sites.
Conduct ship checks to assess existing conditions and deliver on-site engineering support during installation and testing of new equipment and systems.
Lead peer engineers and engineering aides, ensuring customer requirements and project schedules remain the top priority.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the Secret level.
This position is fulltime onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ.
This position requires the ability to travel up to 5%.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience in a Engineering discipline with 2+ years of related professional experience.
Familiarity of various network types.
Familiarity with cable interface design.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the Secret level.

This position requires the ability to travel up to 5%.
Desired skills
Systems engineering background.
Knowledge of various network types, current commercial trends in this field, as well as the cabling materials required to support.
Basic level of knowledge of both military and commercial electrical interface protocols, Combat System integration criteria, equipment interaction methods, major signal flows, as well as, USN and commercial Shipbuilding Specifications.
Basic level of understanding of the AEGIS Combat System program philosophies including the Shipbuilders' role, the role of the major equipment vendors of the ACS, and the role of the Land Sites as Development, Test, Acceptance, Production, and Training facilities for AEGIS.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 - $142,760.
