Full Job Description
Title of position: Electrical Engineer I, II

Position type: Full Time

Pay range: $100K - $150K annual salary

Location: Westminster, CO

Compensation ranges are provided in good faith based on what we anticipate when researching wages for this position at the state and national levels. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

About the Role

The Electrical Engineer I role is an experienced-level position and the Electrical Engineer II is an advanced-level position, both are responsible for supporting the design and execution of electrical systems for a variety of projects within the energy sector. In this role, you will contribute to power system design, control systems, and project deliverables while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.

What You'll Do

  • Medium and low voltage power system design.
  • PLC-based process control/automation and communication system design.
  • Project engineering and technical tasks (client interaction and job scoping, equipment specification, engineering calculations and drawing reviews, contractor bidding, onsite construction inspection, system commissioning and troubleshooting assistance, project management).


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5 to 10 years industry experience in power and/or control system engineering and design.
  • PE License preferred, or minimum of EIT with progress toward a PE License.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to travel to field project locations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to quickly react to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • A valid Driver's License and ability to travel 5-20% (Driving to remote construction sites will be required).
