We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support advanced electronic systems for next-generation drone defense (counter-UAS) solutions. This role involves working on cutting-edge technologies including RF systems, embedded electronics, sensors, and power systems to detect, track, and neutralize unmanned aerial threats.

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and test electronic hardware for drone detection and mitigation systems
- Work on RF systems including signal detection, jamming, and communication modules
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes for embedded systems
- Integrate sensors (radar, EO/IR, acoustic, RF) into defense platforms
- Collaborate with software, firmware, and systems engineers for full system integration
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in lab and field environments
- Optimize power distribution and battery systems for portable and fixed defense platforms
- Support EMI/EMC compliance and environmental testing (MIL-STD preferred)
- Analyze system performance and improve reliability and efficiency
- Participate in field deployments and system demonstrations
- Ability to work extended hours and/or some weekends for mission critical deadlines
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in electronics design and development (defense or aerospace preferred)
- Strong experience with:
- Analog and digital circuit design
- PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, or similar)
- Embedded systems and microcontrollers
- Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, and signal processing
- Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
- Experience with DSP systems
- Understanding of power systems and battery management
- Ability to debug complex electrical systems
- Existing US Security clearance or ability to obtain one

Bonus Points- Experience in counter-UAS, radar, or electronic warfare systems
- Knowledge of RF jamming, spectrum monitoring, or direction finding
- Familiarity with communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN)
- Experience with FPGA systems
- Understanding of military standards (MIL-STD, DO-160, etc.)
