Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electrical Engineer 3 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. Must be from an ABET accredited program.
- PPE: Hard hat, safety glasses and steel toed boots
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
- Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- The team is looking for a mid-career person with field experience and good technical background, with engineering instruction and oversight for certifying and repairing cranes.
- The ideal candidate will have experience and a desire to be in the field, climbing cranes getting involved and good at troubleshooting and interfacing with electricians.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
WORK HOURS5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
