Role Overview:This role is for an Electrical/Electronics Design Engineer responsible for product design, development, and implementation. The position requires expertise in various aspects of electrical hardware design and a focus on manufacturability and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage in product design, development, and implementation activities.
- Perform electrical hardware design, including mixed signal designs, power supply designs, processor-based designs, and cable designs.
- Identify low-cost alternatives to off-the-shelf parts such as monitors, printers, card readers, and scanners.
Required Skills:- Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation.
- Proficiency in electrical hardware design involving mixed signal designs, power supply designs, processor-based designs, and cable designs.
- Ability to identify low-cost alternates to off the shelf parts.
Preferred Skills:- Experience in design for manufacturability.
- Experience with FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Experience with DOE (Design of Experiments).
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis.
