ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, coordinate across engineering teams, and help drive successful project execution. Your day-to-day work may include developing design studies, preparing engineering calculations & analysis, attending project meetings, conducting field walkdowns, and mentoring junior engineers. You'll apply your expertise to challenging and meaningful projects while contributing to technical excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Act as the bridge between engineering teams, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across all project disciplines
- Shape Project Success: Develop innovative design studies, define project scopes, and create accurate engineering estimates to drive project excellence
- Master Procurement & Installation: Draft detailed specifications for electrical equipment, evaluate technical bids, and select top-tier solutions to meet project needs
- Perform Precision Calculations: Execute essential electrical calculations that form the foundation of successful designs and installations
- Think Creatively: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges and push projects forward
- Be Hands-On in the Field: Travel to project sites, conduct walkdowns, oversee installations, and support start-up activities to ensure quality and compliance
- Lead and Inspire Teams: Foster a positive, goal-oriented environment with your motivational leadership style, empowering teams to achieve success

Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls)
- Must have experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm
- Writing, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Due to Federal Contract Requirements, US Citizenship is required
Compensation RangeUSD $90,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
