Short DescriptionThis role is fully competent in most aspects of project coordination support in the northern region. Applies knowledge and technical skills to provide project management, design support, and procurement of materials, and direction to designers and contractor personnel. Perform other duties as assigned.
Manage electric distribution projects from initiation through close-out. Responsible for project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. PM will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate design, permitting, right-of-way acquisition, and material procurement. Develop, track and maintain project schedules, milestones, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and company standards. Responsible for document control; ensure proper close out documentation requirements have been completed (change orders, as-builts, etc). Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Summary- Responsible for program management or project management of high volume, less complex Electric Distribution projects (ex: cable R/P; equipment R/P, lighting & line maintenance).
- Typically limited or accelerated (template) designs used.
- Manages adherence to service and/or contract standards.
- Accomplishes assigned objectives and ensures timely completion of project.
- Customer base: Typically internal Dominion Reliability, Substation Maintenance.
- Contract management financial responsibilities (i.e. project settlement, profit/loss & income statements, and billing.)

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceThe knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
- 8+ years of related experience in Electric Distribution.
- Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
- Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.
- Team building skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education RequirementsDegree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:Bachelor
