In this high-impact, market-facing role, you will be the visionary leader for our EAM practice. If you are ready to move beyond standard implementation and drive true enterprise-wide business transformation, this is your runway.

Role Summary

The EAM Service Offering Director is a hybrid leadership role blending offering strategy, business development, solution architecture, and delivery oversight. You will define our go-to-market strategy, architect cutting-edge EAM and Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions using both IFS Cloud and IBM Maximo (Maximo Application Suite), lead high-value sales pursuits, and oversee the successful execution of client projects.

Positioned within our Enterprise System & Integration team, you will act as a trusted advisor, bridging the gap between complex utility operational needs and modern digital ecosystems. You will have the unique opportunity to scale a specialized delivery team, mentor rising talent, and drive 1898 & Co.'s expansion as a dominant player in the utility EAM market.

What You'll Do

Offering Strategy & Practice Leadership

  • Build the Brand: Present and position our EAM capabilities at major industry conferences, publish thought leadership, and represent 1898 & Co. within key industry organizations and professional societies.
  • Develop Sales Enablement: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling collateral, case studies, sales briefings, and interactive demonstrations highlighting our multi-platform value proposition.

Business Development & Solution Architecture

  • Architect Winning Solutions: Design robust, integrated EAM, APM, and grid operations architectures that meet complex business, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Own the Pursuit: Lead the creation of key client proposals, define project scope, estimate delivery effort, and confidently present winning pitches to client leadership.
  • Manage Pipeline: Maintain and qualify a healthy pipeline of EAM opportunities, partnering closely with our account executives and client engagement directors.

Delivery Execution & Quality Assurance
  • Oversee Complex Implementations: Provide strategic oversight and act as a steering committee member on major EAM/APM implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
  • Ensure Program Success: Lead program estimating, resource planning, and budgeting efforts, ensuring that multi-disciplinary teams deliver on-time, on-budget, and with exceptional quality.
  • QA/QC Leadership: Champion and enforce strict adherence to QA/QC processes, ensuring that deliverables meet both internal consulting standards and client technical specifications.

Team Development & Mentorship
  • Nurture and Scale the Team: Provide leadership, technical guidance, and career instruction to consulting staff; recruit, mentor, and build a world-class EAM delivery practice.
  • Foster Collaboration: Partner across internal business lines, engineering disciplines, and client engagement managers to maximize cross-selling and service delivery efficiency.
  • Safety First: Maintain and lead compliance with all company and site safety policies.
