Full Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety and environmental initiatives within a complex manufacturing facility. This highly visible role is responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering closely with plant leadership to support operational excellence and continuous improvement across the site. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and has a strong background in OSHA compliance, environmental programs, and employee engagement. Key qualifications include: * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field * 7+ years of progressive EHS experience within manufacturing environments (food, dairy, ingredients, or pharma preferred) * Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, GMP environments, environmental compliance, wastewater systems, chemical management, and air emissions requirements * Experience leading regulatory inspections, audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions * Proven ability to influence teams, coach leaders, and drive accountability at all levels of the organization Key responsibilities: * Lead site-wide EHS compliance and risk mitigation programs * Drive continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental performance * Partner with operations and leadership teams to strengthen safety culture and employee engagement * Oversee incident reporting, workers' compensation, return-to-work programs, and regulatory reporting * Manage environmental compliance programs including wastewater, air emissions, chemicals, and waste handling * Deliver training, audits, inspections, and data-driven performance reporting This is an excellent opportunity for an EHS professional looking to make a measurable impact within a growing manufacturing operation while helping shape a proactive, people-first safety culture.
