A Day in the LifeAs the Health & Safety Manager for our Montreal plant, you will be the cornerstone of our safety culture. Reporting to the Plant Director, you will be responsible for transforming safety from a regulatory requirement into a true culture of interdependence shared by all. You will lead the risk prevention strategy to ensure the integrity of our employees and the site's compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategy & Management: Implementing the site's EHS (Health & Safety portion) policy, tracking performance indicators, and leading safety committees to embed safety at the heart of our operations.
- Analysis & Prevention: Conducting risk assessments, leading incident investigations, and managing industrial hygiene programs to anticipate and control hazards.
- Culture & Training: Acting as a true safety entrepreneur by developing impactful training, awareness campaigns, and coaching managers on the floor.
- Compliance & Emergency: Ensuring rigorous regulatory monitoring, guaranteeing the compliance of new equipment, and maintaining our emergency response plan at a level of excellence.
