Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in EHS or related work.
• Proficient in MS Office and industry-specific software (SDS, Injury Management, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, able to listen and convey information clearly.
• Expert level understanding of EHS regulatory requirements and programs.
• Experience in behavioral models affecting change in a facility.
• Detail-oriented with knowledge of the ceramics process or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage all environmental, health, and safety activities for compliance with regulations.
• Report improvement opportunities to top management to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Provide training on EHS standards as per company and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the improvement of the EHS management system based on ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Plan and implement programs aimed at reducing occupational hazards and regulatory risks.
• Identify conditions that could lead to accidents and assess liability.
• Develop and integrate accident-prevention initiatives into company policies.
