Ecommerce Manager

About the Role

The Ecommerce Manager will own the day-to-day management and optimization of HATCH's Shopify ecosystem across our US and UK websites, with additional oversight of our BABE by HATCH WordPress site. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role.

You will act as the connective tissue between Marketing, Creative, Product, and Digital/Tech, ensuring that launches execute seamlessly, site merchandising drives performance, and the customer experience remains premium and frictionless. This role focuses on execution, optimization, and cross-functional coordination, partnering closely with Digital leadership on strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced retail environments and enjoys balancing operational rigor with commercial thinking.

What You'll Do

Ecommerce Platform Ownership (US + UK)
  • Own daily maintenance and optimization of HATCH's Shopify Plus platform
  • Manage site health, QA, plugin integrations, and performance monitoring across both US and UK sites
  • Act as the primary internal stakeholder for Shopify-related initiatives and enhancements
  • Contribute to platform requirements and enhancements; partner with internal teams and external development partners on execution
  • Manage and oversee all Shopify apps and third-party integrations, ensuring they are optimized, updated, and aligned with business needs

Product Setup & Launch Execution
  • Partner with Product and Merchandising teams to manage end-to-end product setup
  • Ensure accurate product data, pricing, inventory, tagging, collections, and merchandising logic
  • Coordinate seamless product launches, promotional moments, and key commercial events
  • QA all new launches across desktop and mobile before go-live
  • Maintain site merchandising hierarchy including homepage, collections, PDPs, and navigation

Ecommerce Performance & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on ecommerce performance including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, retention, and funnel metrics
  • Analyze on-site behavior and customer journey performance using Shopify, GA4, and other reporting tools
  • Identify and surface opportunities for CRO, UX optimization, and merchandising improvements in partnership with Digital leadership
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance recaps to Digital Strategy and executive leadership
  • Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Digital Marketing, CRM, and Paid Media teams to align traffic acquisition with conversion goals
  • Manage execution of promotions and campaign launches across site
  • Align ecommerce priorities with brand, retail, and community initiatives
  • Ensure consistency across US and UK digital experiences

BABE by HATCH (WordPress)
  • Oversee ongoing maintenance of babe.hatchcollection.com (WordPress)
  • Manage light content updates and ensure site health and functionality
  • Partner with marketing and brand teams to support occasional updates and campaign integrations
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing optimization
