Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and complex imaging studies and assist with various procedures.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS.

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $3,000

Salary range: $45.83 - $63.88 per hour


How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Perform diagnostic procedure to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.
  • Set up and adjust all imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducer to perform exam.
  • Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
  • Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
  • Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history)..

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer

      date.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer

      date. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
    • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
