Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an Early Intervention program in the
Clifton Springs, NY Position Overview- Provide speech and language services to preschool and/or elementary students in a school-based special education setting.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy and instruction aligned with students' IEP goals, developmental needs, and learning styles.
- Collaborate and co-instruct with general and special education teachers to support communication, phonemic awareness, reading, and writing development.
- Identify and address students' phonemic awareness needs and support students with apraxia.
- Maintain required documentation, including Medicaid reimbursement records, while actively contributing to a collaborative, team-based learning environment.
Qualifications- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathology License
- Active TSSLD and/or TSHH credentials
- Valid NPI number
- School-based experience with preschool and/or elementary students, particularly in special education or collaborative classroom settings
- Experience identifying and addressing phonemic awareness needs and/or apraxia
