Job Summary

This role participates in a 12-month Leadership Development Program in the health care payer space. The program builds a foundation in strategic thinking, communication, leadership and project management. Participants gain hands-on experience supporting strategic projects across multiple business and functional areas. Depending on placement, work may include Value Based Care, Pharmacy, Network Strategy, Individual and Family Markets and related enterprise priorities.

  • Exposure to senior leadership.
  • Professional development through executive mentorship.
  • Opportunities to interact with and present projects to senior-level executives.
  • Formal and informal networking across multiple functional areas.
  • Exposure to multiple business areas and health care priorities.
  • Opportunities to develop innovative approaches to health care challenges.
  • Development in strategic planning, analysis, communication and leadership.
  • Project work throughout a highly matrixed organization.
  • Exposure to the operations of a large and diverse organization.


What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?
  • Currently pursuing an MHA, MHSA, MPH, MS-HSM, MBA or similar master's degree with an interest in health care management and strategic planning.
  • Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. We are not offering this program under OPT or CPT or sponsoring work visas for these roles.

Participants hired into the Leadership Development Program also participate in HCSC's enterprise New Grad experience, which complements role-specific development during their first year.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.

Base Pay Range
$63,300.00 - $114,300.00
