Full Job Description
What You'll Do Day-To-Day
Perform standard engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks, resolution of field problems, and resolution of quality events.
Develop awareness of government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards with support of senior staff.
Under a mentor's guidance, evaluate, select and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications.
Preferred Skills
Provide process design and technical support for chemical processes involving nuclear materials, including conversion operations (strong foundation in chemical engineering principles).
Develop, review, and optimize process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and operating procedures, including familiarity with CAD and blueprint reading.
Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
Support startup, shutdown, and modification of chemical processes in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements. A commitment to nuclear safety culture, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Good communication skills including the ability to comprehend and convey detailed technical data (meetings, email, presentations, customer deliverables) and is able to adapt with flexibility.

Salary: $86,000 - $91,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
