Full Job Description

The Process Engineering group is seeking entrylevel or earlycareer engineer to join our Camas manufacturing team. This role is well suited for recent graduates (0 3 years of experience) or engineers transitioning from another technical field who are motivated to build a career in the semiconductor industry.

Role Overview:

Process Engineers in the Camas fab play a critical role in improving yield, reducing cost and complexity, and sustaining highvolume semiconductor manufacturing processes. Engineers lead crossfunctional problemsolving and continuous improvement initiatives, support the introduction of new devices, and ensure stable performance of existing processes. The Camas fab operates in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, requiring flexibility, strong ownership, and a commitment to continuous learning in a fastpaced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve process yield, quality, and manufacturability while reducing cost and operational complexity

  • Lead and participate in crossfunctional continuous improvement and rootcause problemsolving activities

  • Develop, adapt, and qualify processes and toolsets for new semiconductor devices

  • Sustain and optimize established manufacturing processes in highvolume production

  • Apply statistical methods and SPC to monitor and improve process performance

  • Support factory throughput, efficiency, and environmental performance goals

  • Safely operate and process wafers in a cleanroom manufacturing environment

  • Represent the organization on projects and, as appropriate, provide technical or project leadership to lessexperienced team members

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related discipline

  • 0 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with exposure to Dry Etch, Wet Etch, and/or Clean process technologies

  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop technical solutions, and support technology transfer and tool qualification

  • Demonstrated ability to work with limited direction, identify issues, and define approaches to resolution

  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC), manufacturing throughput, efficiency, and engineering statistics

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to effectively communicate with and influence diverse audiences ranging from technicians to senior leadership

  • Proven ability to contribute to organizational goals and drive improvements in quality, productivity, throughput, cost, and process robustness

  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and adhering to all safety and environmental requirements

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export  licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.  As such, applicants for this position 6 except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) 6 may have to go through an export licensing review process.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $75,200 to $103,400.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.

  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors

  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.

  • Benefits for the position includes 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
