Job Description:

NPI Coordinator will lead cross-functional E+ES teams to develop ePowertrain components and/or systems for RI, CI, EP, COGMD, and E&T.

Responsibilities

The E+ES NPI coordinator is accountable for managing multiple, complex ePowertrain configurations across several machine platforms and sites. This includes leading NTI, NSI, NPI and Small Batch projects to deploy new ePowertrains into production as well as maintaining these platforms after launch. This will include managing any supply chain issues, quality concerns, and other program maintenance activities. 

  • Lead NPI projects from launch through gateway 7 ensuring all requirements are met (technical, quality, cost, timeline, etc.)
  • After ePowertrain is launched into production, monitor cost and quality along with validation of any changes
  • Develop/maintain project plans and schedules in collaboration with all E+ES functional areas (product support, life cycle management, engineering, purchasing, validation) and product group teams
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Oversee project execution, including schedule, cost, and performance; communicate status to stakeholders and functional partners; proactively identify, escalate, and resolve issues
  • Work closely with L5 technical leads, L3 NPI leads, and product group partners.

 Level Working Knowledge: 
•    Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements.
•    Participates in planning, estimating, and executing a set of projects.
•    Follows standard criteria to track project progress and status to ensure they are in line with program objectives.
•    Monitors standard project status reports.
•    Coordinates the necessary resources for managing efficient and effective projects within the program.

Summary Pay Range:

$89,210.00 - $133,810.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
