Qualifications

• High school diploma or certification in technical engineering software with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent education.
• Proven advanced drafting skills; proficient in 3D CAD solid modeling.
• Familiarity with industry standards and operational processes is essential.
• Strong math skills, specifically in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Effective oral and written communication abilities for clear idea presentation.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and work independently or in a team; capacity for extended hours.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and schematics from engineering notes and sketches.
• Verify project accuracy through calculations and handbook references.
• Determine required drawing scale and apply appropriate detail lines and sections.
• Ensure the manufacturability and compatibility of parts within tolerances.
• Revise and create 3D CAD drawings when necessary.
• Document as-built drawings based on field examinations.
• Maintain essential records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Direct and audit the work of others as needed.
