.NET Software Engineer Job Responsibilities • Design, develop, implement, and maintain technical solutions supporting legacy .NET applications on Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments. • Develop and support desktop application components and cloud-hosted applications on OpenShift. • Identify opportunities to eliminate technical debt, improve automation, and enhance application performance. • Document application updates, enhancements, and changes. • Collaborate with business partners, Agile squads, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to prioritize and deliver project work. • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions. • Refactor legacy code and address security vulnerabilities. Required Skills • Experience with the .NET technology stack. • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining front-end, back-end, cloud-hosted (OpenShift), and Windows-hosted applications. • Experience with authentication and authorization technologies, including OAuth, Active Directory, and Application Certificates. • Strong knowledge of HTTP, SOAP, and REST protocols. • Understanding of XML structures and data layouts for cross-platform data integration. • Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, and legacy code modernization. Preferred Skills • Experience working in Agile environments. • Knowledge of cloud-native application development and deployment. • Strong collaboration and communication skills with distributed teams.
