Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in medical dosimetry or related field.
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) or board eligible status is required.
  • Strong numerical manipulation and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Varian Eclipse treatment planning software is preferred.
  • College degree focused on X-ray or Radiation Therapy, or equivalent experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize radiation treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with medical physicists and radiation oncologists.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality control protocols.
  • Participate in the equipment quality assurance processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Full Job Description
New Hire Incentive available up to $4,000 for those who qualify. Relocation assistance is also available for those who qualify.

This is a full-time, partially remote position (3 days remote and 2 days onsite) working the day shift Monday through Friday and is located at Scripps Clinic in Vista. You must be residing in San Diego or in California to be eligible for hire.

Please note that if you are residing outside of San Diego or parts of Riverside County, your medical benefits may be affected.

Required Qualifications:
• Manipulation of numbers and complex problem-solving skills.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) or board eligible.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Varian Eclipse treatment planning and ARIA EMR
  • College degree with X-ray, or Radiation Therapy focus, or equivalent
