Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in the Wealth & Investment Management domain to support strategic initiatives across investment products, client onboarding, account servicing, digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and platform modernization.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of retail investment products, including GICs, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Equities, Fixed Income products, and registered investment accounts such as RRSP, TFSA, RESP, RRIF, FHSA, along with strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and requirements elicitation capabilities.

The successful candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver solutions that enhance advisor and client experiences while meeting regulatory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management
  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering activities.
  • Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
    • Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
    • User Stories
    • Process Flows
    • Use Cases
    • Data Mapping Documents
    • Business Rules Documentation
  • Perform gap analysis and impact assessments for new initiatives and enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and system specifications.

Wealth Management Domain Analysis
  • Support initiatives related to:
    • Mutual Funds
    • Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)
    • Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs)
    • Managed Accounts
    • Registered and Non-Registered Accounts
    • Financial Planning & Advisory Platforms
    • Investment Operations
    • Client Onboarding & Servicing
  • Analyze end-to-end investment product life cycles.
  • Understand and support advisor and client journeys across various wealth platforms.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to optimize account opening, account servicing, transfers, and transaction processing.

Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with:
    • Wealth Business Leaders
    • Financial Advisors

  • Act as the primary point of contact between business and technology stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making sessions.

  • Develop and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in:
