Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation since 1936, is hiring a Division Manager for our Technologies Team at our Plant City, FL office.

The leadership position is responsible for all of the lines of business (structured cabling, fiber splicing, security, etc) within the Division, including P&L, sales, estimating, project management, and operations. The Division Manager's performance is measured using the HR performance evaluation for the Division Manager/AM/RAM, the Division's Balanced Scorecard, and the annual office audit. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of telecommunications, data, and physical security network infrastructure, and a proven track record in developing and leading high-performance teams.
Duties:
1. Leads the teammate safety program for the Division, including safety training, performance, regulatory reporting, inspection, and policy enforcement.

2. Responsible for ensuring all products and services meet or exceed quality expectations.

3. Builds an annual sales and operating budget and business plan for the Division and provides weekly/monthly reporting and delivers expected or anticipated results.

4. While supported by centralized legal, accounting, HR, safety, and IT shared resources, the division manager is responsible for the execution of the Division's financial reporting accuracy.

5. Leads and manages the sales process, including the external (product manufacturer, distribution) and internal channels, lead generation, funnel management, and proposal generation.

6. Professionally represent Team Fishel in all matters.

7. Lead the Division's teammate development initiatives, including timely Teammate evaluations, coaching, and continuing education.

8. Works with Centralized Fleet and Asset Managers to ensure the Division has the required equipment and maintenance programs needed to support our team and customers.

Requirements:
1. Possess a High School Diploma. A BS/BA in engineering, business, or telecommunications is preferred.

2. A minimum of 10 years of telecommunications, data/computer network, or physical security is preferred.

3. Possess a polished, professional image with highly developed verbal and written communication skills.

4. A working knowledge of structured cabling systems, including fiber optic cable installation, security, and wireless networks.

5. Possess fundamental computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office and MS Project applications.

6. Possess a keen desire to be a team player and succeed in the Low Voltage Technologies business.

7. RCDD certification is preferred.
