OverviewThe
Division Manager - Outpatient Rehabilitation Services provides leadership and oversight for assigned functional areas within Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating operational, clinical, administrative, educational, business, and quality initiatives that support patient care, workforce effectiveness, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and strategic growth.
Collaborates with the Director, fellow Division Managers, Site Managers, physicians, staff, and organizational partners to ensure the successful operation of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services. Functions as an integral member of the department leadership team, providing cross-functional leadership, supporting enterprise initiatives, and assuming responsibility for assigned functional areas based on departmental priorities and organizational needs.

2. Process Improvement and Operational ExcellenceLeads initiatives that improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality, and consistency of departmental operations.

- Supports regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, and organizational standards.
- Utilizes performance metrics and available data to guide operational improvements.

5. Collaboration and Organizational LeadershipFunctions as a collaborative member of the Outpatient Rehabilitation leadership team to advance departmental and organizational success.

Scope of ResponsibilityThe Division Manager is responsible for leadership of functional areas assigned by the Director. Assigned responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Specific functional assignments are determined by the Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services and may be modified to meet organizational needs, departmental priorities, staffing, and individual expertise without requiring revision of this job description.
QualificationsEducationDoctorate in Physical Therapy or Master in Occupational Therapy, or will consider years of experience and specialty training.
Experience- Five years clinical experience with a minimum of two years in a management /supervisory capacity in a health care setting.
- Minimum 3 years experience in academic medical center care setting.
- Knowledge and experience working with multiple complex patient populations required (transplant, trauma, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics, pediatrics etc.).
- Preferred experience with operational processes for inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
- Minimum 2 years experience and knowledge/skills of EPIC software design and build features for inpatient and/or outpatient rehab service areas.
- Strong communication skills related to computer training.
Licensure/Certification/Registration- Licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation Employees in this position: May operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a non-frequent driver.
