How you'll contribute

We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Director of Compliance Program Operations  to join our growing health system. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of our medical staff and advancing access to high-quality care across our communities. This role primarily assists in the operation and management of the Company Compliance program and is primarily responsible for compliance program governance and operations including designing culture initiatives through effective training, education, and communications. The Director of Compliance Program Operations  will work to maintain and continuously improve stakeholder oversight of the compliance function by the corporate compliance committee.  Also, Director of Compliance Program Operations  will develop, maintain, and implement compliance program systems and processes including written compliance standards.  Other duties include:

  •  Design and develop culture initiatives that includes continuous compliance communications and effective training and education around key compliance risk areas. 
  • Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
  • Drive compliance initiatives to successful conclusion including the implementation of systems and support of corporate transactions.
  • Manage the development and compilation of reports and meeting content for quarterly corporate compliance committee, Board reports, and Executive Leadership Team updates as necessary.
  • Manage the process to ensure adherence to deadlines and utilize judgment to solicit and develop appropriate content. 
  • Assist in the development of, maintain, and continuously improve protocols related to written compliance standards, including the Code of Conduct and Company-wide policies governing issues that pose risk for non-compliance with applicable laws or promote compliance with the Code of Conduct. This includes management of the policy management system and the activities, agenda, and meetings of the Corporate Policy Committee. The position will review and analyze policies to ensure they are clear, concise, and complete.
  • Manage the Compliance Department’s process for responding to requests related to corporate transactions, ensuring that all information and responses are accurate and provided in a timely manner. 
  • Support efforts to develop, maintain and continuously improve documentation, workflow management and project management tools to improve efficiency and collaboration within the compliance function and between compliance, other functions, and facilities. 
  •  Develop and continuous improvement of new-hire and annual compliance training, as well as reporting on completion.
  •  Works collaboratively with the Compliance Team and other areas of the company to develop specialized training around key risk areas on an as-needed basis. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
