Overview

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Division Administrator manages administrative functions for a Division at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Responsibilities include financial management (budget, grants & contracts), personnel management, program coordination, business development, quality improvement, and service. Ensures that the goals and objectives of the division are consistent with hospital goals and objectives. Responsible for working closely with Academic Affairs at CHLA and USC, the CHLA Medical Group, CHLA administration, AltaMed, and the SABAN Research Institute administration regarding the division's grants and contract.

The Division Administrator will be providing accountable administrative leadership across three clinical areas: Gastroenterology, Nephrology, and Abdominal Transplant (Liver and Kidney). Workforce and academic continuity by leading staff management, faculty affairs, physician recruitment, fellowship support, onboarding and development, cross-coverage planning, and research administration. Strategic and enterprise coordination by executing quality, growth, and performance improvement initiatives and aligning work across clinical, academic, research, financial, and administrative leaders.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 3+ years of progressive management experience in healthcare field.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or related field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Pay Scale Information

$124,488.00-$169,303.68
